Vocabulary
At the end of each week, we will practice vocabulary using this website. You will be required to reach 20 grains of rice.
http://www.freerice.com/
You will need to choose 10 words from the free rice website and type down the words and definitions/synonyms as you go through the activity. You may choose any 10 words. When you have your 10 words and definition/synonyms recorded, please go to the following website to create a crossword puzzle. You will print off the crossword puzzle and we will circulate the cross word puzzles around the room so that others can attempt to complete them. You will be able to use the thesaurus or online dictonary when completing the crosswords. Crosswords will be due every Tuesday, so you will have the weekend to complete the crosswords and Monday. The completed crosswords will be due at the end of the week, the same day when you do free rice.
